Among the cases that make the Abuenica team most proud is that of our beloved Adriana Valentina, a little girl with hydrocephalus who has managed to receive comprehensive medical care, financial assistance, and has overcome several surgeries thanks to the support of our valued friends. They have donated to make the life of this little angel of God a bit more tolerable.
Abuenica has also been involved in political advocacy for the release of political prisoners in Nicaragua, obtaining immigration benefits for our Nicaraguan brothers and sisters exiled in the US, and we have peacefully demonstrated for democratization and respect for human rights in our suffering country.
Thanks to our valued friends, donors with great hearts and compassion, since 2018 we have managed to support politically persecuted people, forcibly displaced individuals, exiles, and political prisoners, as well as their families, by providing food, medicine, basic necessities, safe houses, and financial assistance.
Abuenica has been involved in a wide variety of activities, from supporting entire families displaced by the repression of the dictatorship in Nicaragua to providing comprehensive assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic to the most vulnerable Nicaraguans.
